Key ATO Requirements for Small Business
If your GST turnover is $75,000 or more ($150,000 for non-profits), you must register for GST and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) — either monthly or quarterly. Super guarantee contributions (currently 11.5% for FY2025-26) must be paid quarterly by the 28th of the following month.

Our free tools are great for quick calculations, but for full bookkeeping, payroll, and tax lodgement, consider Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks — Australia's most popular cloud accounting platforms.
